DentalInspirations, Inc. was inspired by several people in Cheryl Thomas' life. It is a tribute to people who have inspired her personally and professionally. And this is a special thank you to them all.
J.K. & Alma Webster:
My parents, without them I would have never made it through hygiene school or the escalated doctor bills.
Robert Webster:
My Brother, he has been a friend and a father. Without his wonderful gift of a kidney, I would still be on dialysis.
My sisters and the rest of my family and friends:
Thank you for all of your support, you made a difference.
Richard Thomas:
My husband . Thank you for staying by my side. Your unconditional love keeps me going.
Lisa Dickerson Hearne, R.D.H.:
My best friend in dental hygiene school. She showed me how to face illness with grace and dignity. We lost Lisa to breast cancer in May 1997. She lives in my heart and everyone she knew.
Bob A. Swepston, D.D.S.:
My mentor, my friend, my surrogate father. Bob was a dentist in Plano, Texas for 40 years. He was a pioneer in nitrous oxide conscience sedation, teaching dentists in Texas how to use it before it was taught in the dental schools. Bob inspired me to stick with my dream of going to hygiene school. Through his confidence in me, I succeeded in my career goals. Bob passed away unexpectedly in 2002 due to cardiac arrest. His spirit will be with us always.
Dr. Phil on Oprah states, "There are five pivotal people in everyone's lives". I am lucky enough to have many more than five. Had I written all of my pivotal people down, this could have been several pages. These people know who you are. I've learned that each and every day is precious and I tell you thank you every chance I get. But if I forgot to tell you today..."Thank you!"
